The Endocrinology Research Center offers medical residency training programmes in endocrinology, paediatric endocrinology and nutrition

The study programme lasts two years, divided into four semesters, each of which concludes with an exam, after which students must pass a graduation exam
Clinical residency in endocrinology
The course is divided into four blocks:
- Neuroendocrinology, metabolic disorders of the skeletal system, disorders of mineral metabolism, reproductive endocrinology
- Disorders of the thyroid gland, adrenal glands, pancreas and polyendocrinopathies
- Management of diabetes mellitus
- Complications of diabetes mellitus and the basics of cardiology
Over the year, the resident completes two modules, during which they rotate through several departments. In total, during their study at the center, residents rotate through 15 departments.

Clinical residency in paediatric endocrinology
The study programme is based at the Institute of Paediatric Endocrinology; during their training, residents undertake clinical experience in all departments of the Institute.
The training programme comprises the following modules: diabetes mellitus in children and adolescents, growth disorders, adrenal disorders, thyroid disorders, disorders of sexual development, obesity, calcium-phosphorus metabolism disorders, neuroendocrinology, multisystem disorders and hypoglycaemia.

Clinical residency in nutrition
A distinctive and entirely unique feature of the programme is the opportunity to explore the dietary management of patients with endocrine disorders, both in an inpatient and outpatient setting.
The study programme comprises several modules: a theory-based part, practice-based modules focusing on specific nosological forms, conducted at the Center and in collaboration with clinical departments at leading medical universities in Moscow.

Postgraduate study at the Endocrinology Research Center offers a programme in "Clinical Medicine" within "Endocrinology" and a programme in "Biological Sciences" within "Genetics"
During the course of the programme, postgraduate students receive training in medical statistics, the principles of obtaining patents, bibliography and academic writing, as well as the fundamentals of the theoretical and applied aspects of science. Postgraduate students also learn research methodology and the structure of electronic information resources in science. When studying these subjects, emphasis is placed on consolidating and refining the knowledge, skills and competences that enable students to fully carry out research and teaching work in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standards.
In the first year of the postgraduate programme, students are required to take exams in the history and philosophy of science and in English; in the second year — exam in their field of specialisation.
